Prelude
My first Web site started in around 2000 and I was able to publish it through the Web with an official address of http://www.emmgon.com in 2001. It existed for 7 years. In 2008, I decided to remove it since I wasn't able to have the time to maintain it anymore.
Now, although I still don't have enough time in dealing with this site, I just find myself lucky to design again. Making a simple Web site (even from a design template) is a stress reliever for me. It also gives me a chance to share anything to those who may be interested.
About this site
This site is not intended to be a hub or center of any information, but I would like to see this site to be useful to many people, especially those who are dealing with control systems. Right now, this site is still empty. From time to time, I will be putting information in this site until it grows into something that is relevant to the audience of interest. This site will also contain personal information about me that is similar to the ones published by various academicians and professors around the world. This site may also contain links as well.
Possible Contents
I would love to put a lot of information on this Web site. Of course, I would focus on control engineering education, which is my number one interest. Since I'm also working on different research areas in multidisciplinary science and engineering education, fractional calculus, and energy systems modeling, I would also occasionally put information about these topics. I also have to use my right brain and display a catalog of my paintings and well as music.
Courses Handled
I've handled different courses in the undergraduate and graduate levels in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science in both De La Salle University and Mapua Institute of Technology. The following courses that I was able to handle were:
In my old Web site, I created a set of Web pages that was devoted to control engineering education. A lot of people and universities around the world used it. It was even included in the links from an IFAC Web page. Unfortunately, I have to remove this site in 2008 due to maintenance reasons.
With the requests I received for the past two years, I think it's time to rebuild it again. The old set of Web pages are gone so I have to start from scratch.
